how to create pool table and claster table

am new for dis module , i need some information

how to create pool table and claster table and wat is the transaction for dat..............cud u tel me the procedure for that plz.........

You need to attempt to us the search (except use "cluster" and not "claster" as a search term) and try it out, and then ask specific questions later.

Hi,

In SE11 the main screen allows you to create transparent tables. To create pooled and cluster tables use SE11 -> Utilities -> Other dictionary objects.

Hi,

By default transparent table will be created. To change the table type go in change mode.

Menu=>Extras=>Change table category. Here select pooled table radio button. In attributes give the table pool name and activate.

But in general we won't create pooled and cluster tables. Check the requirement again.

Creating Table Pools/Table Clusters

Procedure

In the initial screen of the ABAP Dictionary, choose Utilities ® Further Dictionary Objects.

A dialog box appears.

Select the object type Table pool/cluster and enter the object name. Choose .

A dialog box appears in which you must specify if it is a table pool or a table cluster.

Select the required object type and choose .

The maintenance screen for table pools/clusters appears.

The necessary entries will have been made automatically for the fields for table pools since a table pool has a fixed structure. You should not change these standard settings if you can avoid it.

The structure of a table cluster is also mostly fixed. Certain fields are therefore proposed when the table cluster is created. You can adjust this proposal to your requirements, for example by inserting further key fields. However, make sure you conform to the structure necessary for a table cluster.

Enter an explanatory text in the field Short text.

If necessary, select the activation type of the table pool/cluster with Utilities ® Activation type.

Create documentation about the table pool/cluster with Goto ® Documentation.

This documentation should describe what the table pool/cluster is used for. The documentation is also output when the table pool/cluster is printed.

Go to the maintenance screen for the technical settings by choosing Goto ® Technical settings.

In contrast to the table maintenance screen, you can only define the size category here. All other attributes of the technical settings are preset.

Activate the table pool/cluster with .

It's a problem when you cut and paste, e.g. from here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/cf/21f090446011d189700000e8322d00/content.htm

The arrow in the sap documentation gets translated to ®. Must be a code page thing or something.

Step 1:

GOTO SE11 -> Utilities -> Other Dictionary Objects

Select Radio Table Pool/Cluster-> Click on Create Icon -> Enter Pool/ Custer Name -> Select Table Cluster -> Click on continue

Step 2:

GOTO SE11 - > Create Z-Table -> Extras -> Click on Change table Category -> Select Cluster Table -> Enter the Above created cluster name and click on Continue.

Create Table Pool:

Go to SE11 -> in menu bar select Utileties -> Other Dictionar Objects -> Select Table Pool/cluster -> enter name and click on Create -> Select Table Pool -> enter short description -> save & activate.

Create Pooled Table:

Go to SE11 -> follow all the steps, which you will do when u will be creating a transparent table and save -> now in menu bar select Extras -> Change Table Category -> select Pooled table and copy -> Now give your Table pool name in delivery & maintenance Tab.

Create Table Cluster:

Follow same steps. (mention Key filed name which you want to use in Cluster Table).

Follow same steps. (Use same key filed which we have already mentioned while creating Table cluster or else it will through an error ).
