i want to create dynamic header in smartform using the transaction so10.

can anyone give me steps to be followed?

Hi,

Do you mean that based on certain conditions you need to decide the header text?

If so then you can define all your header text in SO10, and based on the condition call these SO10 text in header window.

there are two ways to create header in smartforms. i used to write header in text field (hardcoding). now, i want to save the text in sap so i can reuse it later.

You can use the variables in the form &header_varaible1& , &header_varaible2& etc in so10.

Hello,

As i understand you need a text which you can show in every page.

Below are the detail step to create Dynamic Text.

Step 1. Goto the Transaction Smartforms.

Step 2. Click the radio Button Text Module, and create a text module.

            Write your dynamic text there and save it.

Step 3. Create a smartform , in main window create TEXT.

Step 4. If you check in the Attribute tab of TEXT , a field name "Text Type" is there.

             Change the type to "M Text Module". Now at the below you can see field "Name".

Step 5. Write the above created text name in it and save it.

Step 6. Activate your smartform and run.
