External commands execution using SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE.

Hello,

I'm using 'SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE' function module to execute external S/W commands. This is working very fine when the external S/W is up and running. But if the S/W is hanged, then control will not come back to program. Is there any provision to give time limit here? so that after given time, control should come back with an error message. Please help me.
