Error in Workflow

Hi,

I am trying to configure a workflow, while saving it shows, "Prefix number entry missing for system Development client 090"

Any one please suggest me how can i fix this error

Hi,

The number range objects needs to be created for the work item numbering. Create that. You cancreate by going to the long text of the error message. It will give you the link to create the number range.

Hello

Try tcode OOW4 to maintain prefix numbers.

You might also use tcode sale

- got Basic Settings --> Perform Automatic Workflow Settings

Here there may be other config steps that need to be done.

Hi John,

Here is the solution for your problem. I am pretty sure if you follow the below step then definatly you will overcome with your problem.

first check whether the prefix and number range error is coming while saving the workflow or workflow template. if the error is coming then what you need to do is to use the customize the workflow through the transaction SWU3 or OOW4. and check all the error marks nodes changed to the green tick mark.

HI,

Click on the error message...it will open a new help window.

In that window,you will find instructions to customise one table...which will be there with hyperlink.

click on that,,,and it will take you to that perticular screen where you can create one index for your curren client.

It will ask for a index number which you can give arbitarily...

Apart from that do all SWU3 configuration also..
