error in code inspector

Hi experts

I amm using the Translate to Uppercase command in my program, when i check in code inspector

I am getting the error message as "Dangerous use of translate in multilingual system"

how to avoid this and how to rewrite this statement. I am using for matnr to uppercase

Try this code:

* set locale for given language (needed for upper-case translation)
  SET LOCALE LANGUAGE sy-langu.

* translate to upper-case
  TRANSLATE <String> TO UPPER CASE.

Press F1 on Upper case and read the Note of SAP help.your will get the reason of this error.
