edi function module

Hi,

May i know what is the use of the below FM

1) EDI_DOCUMENT_OPEN_FOR_READ / EDI_DOCUMENT_CLOSE_READ

2) EDI_SEGMENT_GET

3) These 2 function module referring to idoc number? business document already created from idoc or not yet?

Hi,

Check the documentation of the FM'S..Also check the where used list of them to get idea where they are used.
