Difference between ECC5.0 and ECC6.0

Hi All,

I am currently working on ECC5.0. But we now want to upgrade to ECC6.0 from ECC5.0.

Could anybody please let me know what are the technical differences between both the versions.

Also, how can we accomplish the upgrade activity.

Hi,

May be there are lot of differences but broadly:

the Inclusion of Netweaver Components happened from 4.t to ECC5.0 and ECC 6.0

In ECC 5.0 the component versions of netweaver are of different versions but in ECC6.0 all componet versions of netweaver are same and latest.

Unicode is another important thing for ECC6.0 and 5.0

To my understanding ECC6.0 is based on Netweaver 2004s.. you can get new technical feature in 2004s release note
