Have you assigned search help fields to the respective table fields? Is yes? Then first check it while inserting records into you customized table (Utilities->Table Contents->Table Entries->Positioin the cursor on fields and press F4 ). If it's working fine here then there might be the problem with your screen.
what i understand is that you are not facing any problem while displaying it with customizing table F4 . But you facing the problem when we are assigning it to attributes of the screen . If we have it properly working in Custom table and same data element has been used for screen it should get filled automatically .test your search help independelty then in table and then in screen .
Can you check the parameter assignemnt button on the collective searhhelp screen ? Her you assign single searchhelp parameters to the collective searchhelp paremeter.
Can you check if you have assigned the parameters correctly in the collective search help apart from assigning it in the elementary search help. In your collective search help, Included search helps tab, select each line of your elementary search help individually, and then select Param. assignment. And check, if the field assignment is given.
Meanwhile how have you added your search help to the field in screen. Have you populated teh search help field , or have you assigned the search help to some data element.?
