Change pointer

Hi Experts,

I would like to create a change pointer for a particular message type(say /PAR/CLFMAS) from a report.

Is there any std function module available to creata a change pointer if i pass message type and material number to the function module.

If there is any other option to create change pointer , pls let me know.

Hi ,

Activate change pointer based on message type by using transaction BD41 and BD51 for fields .

Then create a change pointe object thru SCDO transaction .

Please reward if useful.

All the settings has been already done and activated, from the report i juz want to create a change pointer for a material with specific message type.
