BDC session queue

Hi all,

I am processing more than 50 BDC sessions programatically. Will SAP queue the sessions if sufficient resources are not available ?

Will any changes / settings in Basis (setting for number of background / dynpro processes) can help in increasing the efficiency of my task.

Assuming SAP Kernel will take care for queuing BDC sessions
