batch input

hi,

I have Z Batch input program to change the height and width and Unit of measure , when i try to run this program to update the existing one it is not updating the values in the filed for a particular material, and it give an error saying that No batch input data found for screen SAPLMGMM3005 Leave to transaction SAPLSP01 in not allowed in batch input , any idea how can debug this probelm or how can i proceed further to find why it is not updating.

can some one pl. give an idea.

don't use bdc on material master, you will never get lucky that way, use ein BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA instead.
