ATC exemption handling for dev-system code base?

Hi everyone.

We set up our development environment for ATC. (dev system, qa system as master system, ci variant and object set for periodic jobs)

My intention is to get good code quality as early as possible. Therefore we run a central ATC check on a daily base in the development system.  The developers have the specific ATC role and can request exemptions for the findings. Transports shall be only released when they have no findings or exemptions have been made.

The problem is that I cannot see those requests for exemptions in the ATC exemption browser in the consolidation/master system because the development has not been transported to that system yet. Obviously the exemption browser only shows those exemptions of table SATC_CI_EXEMPT which have a corresponding object in table TADIR in the consolidation/master system.

How do I solve my problem? Do I have to transport everything to QS first or is there another (better) solution?

the OSS note 1880161 hould solve the issue you face. Please let me know if the not and the attached correction instruction was suitable to your needs.
