Activate Modification assistant

Hi All,

How to activate the modification assistant in ABAP Editor.

To activate modification assistant you have to go to the version history and restore an older version.

In order to activate the modification assistant you need to retrieve the previous version of the object that has the modification assistant or retrieve the SAP version of the object if there are not any previous versions.

But its possible only with the version that has the modification assistant ON.

Hi,

go to any zprogram and then EDIT > MODIFICATION OPERATIONS > SWITCH ON ASSISTANT..

After SWITCH off ASSISTANT, the system menu 'SWITCH ON ASSISTANT' change to grey, how to enable the menu again.
