Accessing MS-SQL Server and Uploading Date to an ABAP programme

Hallo,

I need to access, upload and process Data from an MS-SQL Server out of an ABAP Prog. Can anyone give me a tip how this might be done. I have tried ODBC but don't get anywhere.

Hi,

you can try with Native SQL. By default, native SQL connects to SAP database but you can change it using command CONNECT. You will have to maintain a configuration record in the table DBCON for your connection. Search ABAP documentation for more info.
