about field label

hi , i have created a table , but i forget to create field label , plz tell me how can i create field label for each field, give me links abt dat if u have any.

Hi Rahul,

I think field labels are maintained at Data Element level. You can maintain it for each and every field's data element.

Double click on data elements.

click on tab field lables.

enter the field lables .

HI,

CREATING FIELD LABLE IS DONE IN DATA ELEMENT.

AFTER CREATING FIELD LABLE IN DATA ELEMENT FOR ALL FIELDS THEN SAVE IT AND THEN GO TO DATABASE UTILITIES AND CLICK ACTIVE AND ADJUST DATABASE. ELSE IT 'LL BE DISPLAYED AS ++++ INSTEAD OF THE FIELD LABLE.

Hai Rahul,

Go to Respected Data Element And then Maintain FieldLabel ANd Then Activate It.

if Any Problems Means ADJUST Database Table.

hi rahul,

Field label is done at Data Element level.

U goto the table double click on the data element.

Fill in the field labels and go to the utilities and make it active and adjust the database..

Otherwise u will get +++ in the field instead of the value u gave there.

Hi,

To provide field label for a field,then in the Data Element level,click on FIELD LABEL and here youcnn specify the LENGTH and FIELDLABEL.

Hi Rahul,

FieldLabels for Fileds are maintaining for Data elements.

Now Goto SE11 and click on the data element name .

in that you mentioned desrired fieldlabels to the data elements and activate the

Dataelement.

in the table goto MENU ->UTILITIES->DATABASEUTILITY->

In that screen you select the Pushbutton

ACTIVATE and ADJUST DATABASE.

this will modify the table with new fieldlabels
