Risk Appetite

Hello Experts,

Could anyone explain the purpose of  the Risk Appetite that we are defining for the Organization.

Is it,

>Just to indicate the risk appetite of that particular organization? or

>Does it have any impact on the analysis of risks for that organization? or

>Does it trigger any notification/workflow if any risk violates such thresholds that are defined for the risk appetite?

Hi Ramakrishna,

As far as I know, this only serves for documentation and reports. I have done some RM implementations and never the risk appetite impacted.
