The bug description:
If you've applied SAP GUI 710 patch level 3 on your Installation Server using NWSAPSetupAdmin, you may be perplexed that in spite of the process completing with no obvious errors, the Patch Level display would still read: "- NA -".
Affected software:
This bug affects patches for the following products:
- SAP GUI for Windows 710 till patch level 3.
- Business Warehouse patch level 1.
- Knowledge Workbench till patch level 2.
This is purely a display issue caused by missing content in the patch metadata, and you may stay rest-assured that so long as no error was reported, the patch was successfully applied and an update can be transmitted to the workstations.
The fix:
On applying GUI Patch Level 4, you will be able to view the Patch Level against the item SAP GUI for Windows 710 correctly. Get the latest GUI patch from the SAP Service Marketplace.
Note -
The fix for patch level display of BW and KW will arrive in the next BW and KW patch, respectively.
