The JCoException tells what went wrong. It could not connect to the specified gateway. The full exception usually contains a "caused by" exception, which shows further details.

Apparently, changing the port did not work.ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED usually means that there is no process running on the target host, who listens to the specified port.
