Issue is solved: cause seems to be a failure in FLP in handling a plugin that is created in customer namespace, e.g. /ABC/. In case the plugin is created in Z-namespace, it's working fine.

Issue resolved by myself: since there isn't any launch screen file specified in Xcode, one needs to select "MainViewController.xlb" under "Genereal-->App Icons and Launch Images". Now everything looks great!
