Xcelsius Professional 4.5 Activation Code

I purchased Xcelsius Pro 4.5 in December of 2005. I've had several system crashes and have just installed it on a new system. Unfortunately, when the app tries to activate, it says that I have exhausted all of my activations. How do I get a new activation or reactivation code?

Amit.....looks like you have helped several people with reactivation issues (I commend you for this).....I have a challenge as follows:

- 2004 I purchased Xcelsius Ver 3 from Infommersion and installed/used successfully on my Toshiba laptop

- 2005 aquired a new Sony laptop and purchased an upgrade to Xcelsius XL Standard Ver 4.0.4.7 and then subsequent graded to Xcelsius XL Proffesional Ver 4.0.4.9....I had excellent tech support during this process from Infommersion.

I updated my Sony from SP 2 to SP 3 (running XP Pro) a while ago and now have an issue trying to activate the upgrade version...the full upgrade details are

Hello Amit, I'm hoping you can help me too. I have Xcelsius 4.0. I may have had installed it on this same machine a few years back, but never activated it because I was reading through the guides and just never got around to using Xcelsius as Crystal Reports was working fine in the meantime, at least thatu2019s the way I recall it.

This January/February I had to wipe my PC out for a clean Windows XP Pro install and everything was wiped out. Perhaps this is why the activation is indicating it was already activated. Iu2019m hoping you can help. I still have the Box, CD Packaging everything for this program so you can see that it's not pirated in anyway.

Also, when I bought this software a few years back, there was an offer for a free upgrade to 4.5. Does that offer still exist? Can I download 4.5 from your site and just use this key for the upgrade?

Hi Javier,

Have you tried opeing Xcelsius on your machine? Let me know if it ask you for activation as i see the product is already activated.

Regarding the offer, I am not sure bacuse 4.0 is outdated version. You will probably have to check with the sales.

You could try the latest version i.e. Xcelsius 2008 .

Select "Automatic Activation" when prompted for activation and et me know if it still asks you for activation when opening Xcelsius.

Yup, I open it up and an Xcelsius Activation pop up comes up. It says you have run Xcelsius 5 times without activating it. You must activate Xcelsius now in order to launch it. Automatic Activation is a one step process which requires an active Internet Connection.

Basically I've just started reusing Xcelsius today ever since doing the clean install of Windows XP on my pc. I installed like two weeks ago and started using it between yesterday and today. Now this message comes up. I do the Automatic Activation but it says the limit has been met. I guess I had activated it before January before the wipe out.

I'm I out of luck now? $280 down the drain, please say there's light at the end of the tunnel. Just when I created my first awesome dashboard.

Hi Amit

When I try to re-install Xcelsius V4.5 on the same (re-formatted) PC I receive the message "Problem accessing Macromedia Flash Player. Macromedia Flash Player Version 7.0 or higher needed." I have installed the latest Flash Player (V10) and tested it but still get the same message. My activation code has already been reset but I don't reach the screen where it is to be entered. My operating system is Windows XP SP3.

Problem solved - it's all about sequence. I blew away my OS and re-imaged the drive back to before the Xcelsius installation. Next I turned off my pop-up blocker, installed Shockwave and Flash Player in that order. After that, Xcelsius installed without a hitch.

Another problem I have is that I have purchased and registered Xcelsius 2008 Engage but I have lost the license sheet with the product serial number. Can you check this in your databases.

My old computer had a "melt-down"... If you need further info from me please let me know. I appreciate your assistance. Also, there is mention of hotfixes available but there are no working links on the support site. Can you direct me to where I can get the hot fixes after I have activated.

The setup accepts the serial number as shown above and when I try a manual registration , the eSellerate site generates the registration key above. (I did a cut and paste from the dialog box so there can't be a typo)... Is there a way I can send you a screen shot?

Or do you have a fax number I could send a copy of the CD jacket showing the label...

I purchased CXStd (online download) and later upgraded to CXPro4.5 (w/ CD and a hard copy manual ). I have the installation CD with me now.

My registered customer ID is:

Recently the old computer totally crashed on me. I got another computer and tried to install CX into my new computer. However, I was unable to activate the program through the Internet but urgently need to work on my old XLF files for a presentation next week. How can I provide you the serial nr? Dear Chih-Yang,

As Mark mentioned earlier, 'SAP CrystalXcelsius 4.5 is no longer supported as it is End of Life from 30.06.2011; therefore the resetting of activations for license keys is no longer possible. In order to activate your software, you will have to update it to the current versions – Xcelsius 2008 or above.'

I'm sorry, but unfortunately you would need to upgrade to Xcelsius 2008 or Dashboards 4.0/4.1. These version does not require any activation code, you should be good with the license keys it needs.

Also note, you might be able to open the old XLF files, but due to change in architecture and backend code, you might encounter issues with your old XLF based of 4.5.
