Wrong URL on Notification emails

Hi,

Í configured Portal & KM to send emails and it is working fine but the emails arrives with a wrong URLs to the documents etc.., when the email is originated as a result of a subscription it sends the email with URL´s like http://<%hostname%>/irj/go/km.

so when clicking on the link it can go to the document cause of the <%hostname%> in the link instead of the real hostname or domain and it does not contain the 50000 port either.

and when the email is generated when a Task is created it sends the URLs like http://localhost:1080/irj.

so it cant go to the Portal to access the link.

Does anyone knows how to fix this issues?

Thanx in Advanced!

Kind Regards,

Gerardo Jiménez

in Resume:

the URL in the Subscription notifications was solved in Systemadmin->CM->GlobalServices on URL Generator Service (remember to click advanced options)

And the URL in the TAsk notifications was corrected in System Administration > System Configuration > Universal Worklist & WorkFlow > Workflow > Engine.

Hope this helps to somebody else.

Hi Gerardo,

Have you checked your URL Generator service .

Go to Systemadmin->CM->GlobalServices.

Pls see if your URL service is properly configured there. I believe this is

used for the urls in the mails.

Hope this helps

I got into System Administration > System Configuration > KM > CM > utilities > URL Access for Content

And here I changed the localhost to my domain but stills arrives wrong :O(

Also I noticed, that if I copy and paste the URL to my browser and change the localhost:1080 to mydomain:50000 the link works just fine, so if the localhost:1080 can be changed it will work just fine :O)

Thanx in Advanced!
