hi,
I have workflow scenario like this. WF is triggered when customer creates quotation and it goes to manager for approval. If the manager rejects it, work item goes back to the user. My requirement is -- if the user makes any change with price - he changes the status of the quote to 'revised' at header level. Then it should again go back to manager. If the user makes some other changes and does not change the status to revised--- then it need not go back to manager. How do I go about.
Regards,
sivakumar

Hello,
One way to go about this is to create an attribute in the Business object that you are using which retrieves the header level status. As you are going to link the event of the BO to the workflow, the same element would be available in the workflow container as well. So use the same attribute in the condition step type and check for the status 'revised'. If the condition is satisfied, send it back to manager, if not do accordingly.
Hope this will help.
Thanks,
Samson
