SAP ECC 6.0 is the core part or main instance of SAP ERP 6.0. It contains the main ABAP components of ERP 6.0. Next to this core SAP ERP product contains more additional components as BI Content, SRM Server, Java Components,...
For instance please check note 1291222 for all the product instances and the latest support packages (the first "usage" is ECC).
