Webi: Unable to sort Cross Table break sections using...

I have created a Webi cross table which contains a break based on the KMA Market column. I added in a variable to include as the "total" for that break section. My need/goal is to sort all the break sections in descending order based on that total row value. This is my report output example

Have you tried sorting it yourself yet?
What exactly did you do?
What was the result?

I have highlighted that total field, right-clicked and selected the "Sort -- Descending" option and it does nothing. So either it's not seeing that summary total as a number or something else is missing.
