Web intelligence email schedule missing from field

We recently upgraded to 4.2, but the from field is no longer available when scheduling and emailed report. I can't seem to find a setting where this needs to be changed.

check if the "SMTPFrom" in "BIlaunchpad.properties" are set to true or not.

if not, set it to true and restart the tomcat

I don't see the setting option in that(or any properties) file at all. Any concern just adding it?

It should be in "BIlaunchpad.properties" and "FioriBI.properties"

The trick here was that our custom properties file has to explicitly call out the setting, leaving no setting will not default back to the standard properties file even if that was set to SMTPFrom=True. Thanks for the help.

so add it to the files under custom directory.

Hi Steve,

I see the From field in BI 4.2 SP6, so you need to check your settings as Ayman says, and/or contact BO Admin to see if it's a privilege issue.
