Variant management & View functionality

I was reading the functionality of variant management, i have a small doubt that the View creation (in process manager) and the Variant management seems to be it similar.

just to clarify want to know what are the different Usses of both the functionality   SAP Signavio Process Manager   SAP Signavio Process Collaboration Hub

In SAP Signavio Process Manager, process variant represent different perspectives on a main process. Our variant management tools enable process owners and modelers to identify and model variants. Please note that variant dimensions are based on dictionary categories, you first need to populate your dictionary to obtain relevant results from your variant comparison.

View creation is our tool to create a data view in a process data pipeline in Process Intelligence. Data views are virtual tables that can retrieve and join data from tables and other data views through queries that you define. Data views are similar to SQL queries used in event collectors and case attributes of business objects. 

Despite some resemblance in the results you expect. Those tools have two distinct usage for different products in SAP Siganvio Transformation Suit.

Hello @julienmoigno , thanks for the reply. Just to confirm, my query was related to difference between Variant management and view creation in Process manager Graphic editor , where we create (Model) different view according to the requirement.
