I would like to ask if SAP has command support. For example, in OS Linux I can use commands to create jobs, view jobs, check job status, list enqueue processing without accessing the dashboard application.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi and welcome. There are indeed many command line interface (CLI) tools available for SAP products and services, too many to list here.
But to start you off and give you an idea, I'll point you in the direction of the SAP Development Tools website where there are many CLI tools listed. One of my favourites there is the btp CLI for everything related to resources on the SAP Business Technology Platform. The Developer Advocates have covered this tool and many relating to it in various forms over the past few months, see for example our Hands-on SAP Dev show and also content in our SAP Tech Bytes repository on GitHub.
Beyond that there are often CLI tools to be found in the ecosphere surrounding particular products. As an example, there are many command line tools in the SAPUI5 and OpenUI5 area - look out for Yeoman based generators, testing mechanisms and more.
And how could I finish without including a link to the CLI tool for one of my favourite server side systems - the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model. Find out all you need to know in the docs.
Hope that helps to get you started!
