Uploading file to Application server through function module

Hi Expert,

I am using "ARCHIVFILE_CLIENT_TO_SERVER" ..

In above FM a Import parameter (Path) is of 70 char length and my file name is length is more than that.

Since I cant change the file name how can I limit it to 70 char length.

Is there any other way.

Just read the FM source and call yourself the FM behind. (SCMS_UPLOAD, SCMS_DOWNLOAD)
