we recently upgraded from 4.6c to ECC6.0 wt type of upgrade interview questions will be asked.
1st, as a none expert, let me try to take a stab at this;
Upgrade is already done? Yes.
New version is SAP ECC 6.0? Yes
Did you upgrade hardware? yes
What hardware Changes were made? ..........
The underlying OS was changed or was it Upgraded?
Did said company have a Unix/Linux veriant or Windows veriation?
You did decided to keep the same basic type hardware; ie: X86, PPC, or Sun SPARC?
The type of Database was maintained as the SAME; Oracle, DB2, etc, etc.............?
Did you do a test sand box before the actual new system was built?
How long was the test sand box used before the official upgrade.
What was you start date?
What was the official go live date for the upgrade.
Was the old system maintained and working?
What problems did you encounter?
Did you do a data dump and a back up?
What new Functionality was gained from the upgrade?
What Change management system did you use for the upgrade?
How big was the team that performed the upgrade?
Was this an in house company upgrade?
Which consulting company was used?
How can you prove that you upgrade was a success?
What Security patches were installed?
Can we call someone as a reference from the upgrade?
How many instances were rolled out?
You question is rather open ended, but I hope of the 1000 different questions that can be asked these few will help.
