Troubleshooting Report Application Server

Hello Listers,

I've installed Crystal Reports Server XI R2 on Windows 2003 Server. All the services are running fine except '*Report Application Server*'.

Whenever I try to start the service it starts and stops immediately. I don't know whats wrong there.

Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this problem?

Please help me.

Hello Vinit,

check the Eventviewer of your W2003 OS if it drops an error. Also you should trace the RAS Server by adding the "-trace" option to the Service, than start it and re- produce the error. Check the Trace log afterwards and post the Result.
