Hi,
It depends on client generally as which process of Transportation they want. Both DEV--
>PROD
And DEV--
>PROD.
Also, To make changes directly in Production, you need access to production server. If you have access to make changes in Prod system, then you can make changes same way as you make in dev system.
And, generally we make changes directly in production only when it is very critical and business is getting affected because of any issue or because of any delay in making changes (by following process of Dev-> quality -> Prod) business can get affected.
We generally avoid making changes in Production just to make sure all 3 environments (Dev, Quality and Prod) are in sink.

Hi raj,
In the process DEV--
>PROD. once development is done after then transport to the objects to Quality system after Quality checkup.And again we can transport Quality to development...... And after we can transport Dev to production.....it's the correct or not
Thanks&Regards
ramesh
Hi ramesh,
there is no need for you to again resend the transport back to QA, once your testing is done n you get headup you can move to PROD .this is the best practice.
It depends of the system land scape.
But if in your land scape if you have DEV ->QA -> PROD ssytem then you will follow the below sequence
DEV -> QA -> PROD.
once the development is done and initial testing is done we will transport the changes to QA and we will perform integration testing here and once you get heads up you will move to PROD.
