Hello Experts,

i want to change or display a transformation, then i get a short dump:

The ASSERT condition was violated

"ASSERTION_FAILED" " "

"CL_RSTRAN_GUI_GROUPID=========CP" or "CL_RSTRAN_GUI_GROUPID=========CM003"

"ADD_RULES_TO_GUIRULES"

I have checked the note 998730 but i can´t find inconsistent entries.

We use SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0 with SP12.

Can anybody help me?

There is a quick OSS note fix no. 998730 released by SAP on 8-Dec-06 which you can apply manually. Alternatively, you may want to apply this OSS note no. 989932 to permanently fix this problem. Note 989932 is from Support Pack 11.

Follow the steps mentioned in OSS note 998730.

Delete these entries from the table.

Activate the affected transformations.

Also check the OSS note: 1006658.

Hi Karthik

We are trying to back post a simple MM scrap transaction to the previous period, but we get the attached short dump.

Different consultants have been working on the problem, but all standard settings seem to be in place (MM & FI period allow back posting and open).

This is in the ALL in 1 Business solution and the detail of the message seems to be the same as per the other user, but it is not within BW

What happened?

In the current application program, the system recognized a situation

involving the ASSERT statement that should not occur. A runtime error

occurred, either because there was no activation ID entered or because

the ID of the activation mode used was set to "Cancel.

Do you think this note will work?

Kind Regards
