Hi experts,

I am using SAC Analytics designer to create a complex dashboard. To add some label/text, I would like to align vertically the text, in next example, as you can see, the text is at the top of the text component:

Actually, this dashboards is the SAC version of Lumira Designer one. in the latter , we can align the text vertically.

What I would like to see is the text Cyber Awareness Training to be align in the middle of the text component (the size of the component is highlighted with the red rectangle.

I have tried to create a custom text css class but the property "vertical-align: middle" is not supported as of today:

Thanks.

Dear jrodrig4,

maybe as a workaround you can add an empty line before your text 'Cyber Awareness Training' like in the screenshot below.

You can also adjust the font size for this empty line, which influences its hight.

I hope this helps

Best regards
Susanne

Thanks for your response Susanne. I will try this.

Hope SAP realizes they have to add more CSS capabilities. We are recreating many dashboards from Lumira designer and I am getting so many issues because of this.

Javier

yes, unfortunately, such an alignment command has not yet been added to css. By the way, you can follow my blog, I try to add information regarding what's new in the css part.

on your question: as an option, you can try to make a text element located inside the panel 50% indent from the Top Y of the panel itself.

The Problem with text is always that you need to set a font size. That can cause problems with different resolutions. A feature that automatically adjusts the font size depending on the actual screensize would be awesome.

Hi Javier,

You can try workaround -

step 1 - click and enter on the top of 1st word for eg Cyber

step 2 - after you click enter the cyber text will move to the next line

step3 - again go to 1st line and increase and decrease the font size as your cyber Awareness training will algin to center

If you find the above info helpful, feel free to up-vote (arrows on the left) and accept (accept button at the bottom). This will help grow knowledge-based.
