Can someone confirm that Sybase Central is not part of SAP on ASE installation. What client tools are generally used to monitor, administer DB's. I know DBACOCKPIT can be used to monitor but how about administration. Is SAP planning a brtools equivalent in the coming months or is the ISQL only way to administer. Is Sybase control center the recommended path by SAP to administer Sybase currently and going forward. I am still doing my ground work and need your inputs to better approach our transition into Sybase.
Also I dont see DBACOCKPIT guides under operations for 7.3/7.31/7.4. I only see security and IQ guides. Any pointers here are appreciated as well.

Really strange, I am using a S-User which has access to download Sybase software and i can download all the other guides with the operations section. For some reason, this seems to be only available to SAP as we get "Error Message - Access denied. I have downloaded Sybase software directly so its not an authorization issue perse. I even asked a colleague who has a different S-User ID, he too reports the same. If you are from SAP, can you check if the guide is available for download for customers and partners or is it only internal to SAP
