SWPM - GUI not started

Hi,

The SAP “SWPM” installation GUI is not getting started with the following message,

“guiengine: No GUI server connected; waiting for a connection on host bhitdms01, port 21212 to continue with the installation“

However, output of “xclock” is fine.

I thing you have to start the SAPGUI from windows OS system to connect the linux server host,

check with SAP Note

Hi Sriram,

Checked the mentioned notes,

Yes, I am starting the installation from windows PC , and humming bird is installed on this PC.

No probs with xclock.

For Testing, I will say you should also try to ue VNC/XManager in place of humming bird.
