Switch to Predictive Analytics

Hi Experts,

I am a SAP consultant having lot of experience and currently in managing capacity. However, current developments in the market makes me to take interest beyond regular stuff. Business Intelligence visualizations and Predictive analytic are drawing my attention. Could anybody guide me how to switch to these areas and what are the prerequisites.
