An error has occurred during the execution of the STOP_SCS_INITIAL_ADDIN phase.
Could not stop AS Java instance with name SCS and number 10 of the standard system.
Could not execute operating system process for action stop on instance 10. Process ID is 17, process name is o4upgtools.
Could not run OS process o4upgtools for action stop. Could not start process /usr/sap/EXE/SUM/java/exe/o4upgtools.
Error while executing process /usr/sap/EXE/SUM/java/exe/o4upgtools. java.io.IOException:
Cannot run /usr/sap/EXE/SUM/java/exe/o4upgtools - exec failed (ENOENT - A file or directory in the path name does not exist.). java.io.IOException: Cannot run /usr/sap/EXE/SUM/java/exe/o4upgtools - exec failed (ENOENT - A file or directory in the path name does not exist.).
our (for PI-systems) used SIDs are:
EXE = PI-development
EXT = PI-test/qs
EXP = PI-prod
and as i know, the used SIDs are not one of the forbidden SIDs
but
when SUM is trying to create the <SID> specific Sub-folder under \usr\sap\EXE\SUM\java\,
\usr\sap\EXE\SUM\java\EXE\....... <=== the last EXE is the SID
and this seems to override (and destroy) the directory:
\usr\sap\EXE\SUM\java\exe\..... with executables for SUM
that is why the executables can not called,
because this directory \usr\sap\EXE\SUM\java\exe\ did not exist anymore
is this possible ????
and how to go on????? yes i already have a support-ticket ........ but .........
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Christoph,
Since you have created a Support Ticket, Wait for the solution there.
Mean while, as my logic, what if you make a copy \usr\sap\EXE\SUM\java\exe _orig in the beginning of upgrade and change its name back to \usr\sap\EXE\SUM\java\exe once you get the this error and continue ??
