Subreport links - Specify subreport parameter issue

I have an subreport within an main report and i like to connect them by Subreport Links.

I select one of the available fields for the link but i cannot change the subreport parameters to use whatever i am doing.

Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong?

If I understand you correctly, you have existing parameters in your subreport that you would like to set values for using the Subreport Links functionality. If that's correct, it's not difficult:

1. On the Subreport Links screen, move the field or parameter you want to use from the left-hand column (Available Fields) to the right-hand column (Field(s) to Link To).

2. At the bottom-left, select the parameter from the subreport.

3. At the bottom-right, uncheck "Select data in subreport based on field".

This will let you set an existing parameter in the subreport to either a value or a parameter from the main report. The subreport parameter and the field/parameter from the main report have to be of the same data type.
