STMS Configuration - Adding External System

Hi All

We are trying to Configure STMS By Adding a External System i.e TR's Released In One System to be Moved to another System ( Like Dev to Quality )

Both The Systems Are in the Same Network With each its own Domain Controller in STMS.

In Source System We Defined the Details of Target System (External Transport Directory).

We Defined the Transport Routes. but We are unable to Connect to Target System.

Please find the Screenshot attached.

We Deleted the Current STMS in Both the System's We Deleted all the log files in Both the System's . But Still No Luck.

Please help Us.

Hello gsaiprasad9,

This, I believe, is the problem with cross-domain file access. Please double-check that you have access to the usr/sap/trans folder on both systems using the sidadm and SAPServiceSID accounts.

Note: In TMS, you can import ignoring versions, although I would not recommend it.

Hi Prasad.

In this case, you can take the data & cofiles from source to target system manually and then do the import action on the target system, Kindly refer the SCN thread answered

Thanks For the Response. !

No Both the Systems' are of Different Release.

One System is IDES ECC 6.0 incl. EhP7 & Other is IDES ECC 6.0 incl. EhP7 Edition 2 (2015)

Can't We Configure STMS Between Them If they are of Different Release? Please Let us Know.
