Stack XML error in Java stack during update in SUM

Hello everyone,

We are facing an issue uploading the XML file for the update of Solman 7.2 from SP02 to SP10.

The error is as follows; Error: In case you have chosen Stack configuration file option, provide the path to the stack XML. Otherwise, provide the directory containing the archives.

The same happens when we try to provide the directory of the packages. Error: Incorrect input; provide the correct path to the directory.

I am sure that we are providing the right directory for the packages and XML file.

Hi Nour.

Your solman 7.2 SP02 SLD and LMDB has the exact same component versions ? could you share the full error log

Hello Nour,

As per the log, it seems that the error is related to the XML file.

Jan 17, 2020 5:57:11 PM [Error ]: The provided Stack file or Directory: .../MP_Stack_1000870928_20200117_.xml, is not valid.

Some tips are mentioned like checking the XML file name and giving the right permissions for the installation user ID.
