Software caused connection abort: socket write error

Hi,

we are sending messages via SSL and SOAP adapter NW7.0 and have to send a Clientcertificate from

KeyStorage for a secure connection. I´have imported the clientcertificates to the KeyStorage with Visual Admin and conifgure the SOAP Adapter to use the authentication by certificate.

When sending messages the SOAP Adapter reports java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: socket write error.

Do we have to configure something additional too on XI?

this error could occur because:

1) the XI server tried contacting the end system but the socket/ network connection was broken....

2) the connection timeout expired beofre the connection could be successfully established with the end system....

check with your network/ admin guys to confirm that at least the above conditions are met.
