I, have question for the version kernel in the SAP system release 701. Display version in the system-status and show 178. Display version in the operation system with disp+work and show 178 (attach image)

I try download the new version kernel in the service marketplace for release 701 but show 176 SAPEXEDB. My question is: which is the latest version of the kernel for the 701 release?

Note: the number version 178 no show in the service marketplace.

Hi Eli,

actually the latest version for Kernel 701 is 176 if you check for the packages SAPEXE and SAPEXEDB (I checked for: 64bit UC / Linux x86_64). But as you may know the disp+work package is available as a separate package in SMP. The latest patch level is 188 (dw_188-10005984.sar).

Nevertheless please be aware of the following note that described the replacement of old kernels using kernel 720:

Note 1629598 - SAP Kernel 720 will replace older kernel versions
