Setting up/adding system into STMS

Hi,

I have 2 BI systems with different sysid and sys #, installed on seperate machines.

One is BW3.5 and the other BI7.0 both configured initially as Single system in STMS. Now i want to create a connection between them. Meaning want to make BW3.5 as Dev and BI7.0 box as Test systems and be able to do transportation. How can i go about setting up this scenario , they are both on the same network subnet.

Your help would be appreciated.

Hi,

In <u><b>c11</b></u> STMS

You should see like this

System C11 System C11

Transp. Domain DOMAIN_C11 Transport domain C11

<b>You have logged into the Domain controller.</b>

-

In <u><b>BI7</b></u> STMS

System BI7 System BI7

Transp. Domain DOMAIN_C11 Transport domain C11

-

---

This shows that C11 is Domain Controller and BI7 is added to it.

If not Delete the STMS in BI7 and follow from 3rd step.

To delete

In STMS > Extras>Delete TMS Configuration.

On QAS BI7 system, i added the domain controler C11 sucessfully.

I logged on dev box C11 - STMS - overview- systems and i dont see anyother system except C11..

So i can not seem to add qas box into C11 as it does not apear.
