When creating a personas flavor in WebGUI for HTML, scripting always fails, giving me an error like so:
sap.personas.scripting : Syntax error in script code:
SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<', "<!DOCTYPE "... is not valid JSON
at JSON.parse (<anonymous>)
This does not occur when using Slipstream Engine. Do I need to use SE if I have a scripting requirement? If not, any idea why I'm hitting this error and how to resolve it? I have not found any notes online for this issue.

This could be something related to the kernel release / patch level. Sounds like something may be wrong with ITS. Scripts certainly do work in webgui, not just SE. If you get such an error with any script, then there should be some error(s) in the browser console with more info about the problem.
