SAP Solution Manager automated authorization testing possible?

Hi there,

I implemented SAP Solution Manager CTBA for automated tests. One reason for automated testing is to minimize tests efforts during SAP 4/H upgrades each year. During upgrades we always have problems with our business roles due to the fact that authorization objects change, so we have to tests the business roles either.

Has anyone have an idea how to tests business roles / authorizations with SolMan CBTA or is there an alternative?

Hello Suzan,

Technically you still automate testing of roles using CBTA for which you will have to create multiple test profiles for different role specific users and provide these test profile within the CBTA test script.
