SAP OData unauthorized status code 401

Hi All,

I built a GET service and we have some authorization checks. If the authorization fails, the requirement is to send 401 HTTP status code. I raised technical exception and explicitly passed 401 as status code but still in the gateway system, while testing, I get status code as 500. Is it not possible to send 401 and if not, then what is the rationale behind it ?

what is url ur executing?

its for entity or for entityset?

did you check its execute from gateway srv? gateway client?
