Is it possible to use SAP Gui Scripting (externally, using Excel, Visual basic or Python) without enabling eCATT ? I have red some posts about eCATT (like https://answers.sap.com/questions/3283899/ecatt.html), but this topic is still a "black magic" for me...

We are now at implementing phase and I 've discovered, that after Go Live, eCATT will be disabled. I will be glad for answers 🙂

Yes. Record your actions -> that generates a VBS file -> Execute it and that does a playback. You can edit the VBS. It can run under many languages.

NB: if ECATT is to be disabled after go live, maybe that sap gui scripting too?
