SAP GUI FOR JAVA 7.40 REV 9

Good morning,

We are working with SAP OLE technology and we are having a issue or question for you.

We are trying to connect OLE application from SAP GUI for JAVA 7.4. Rev 9, this application are installed on Windows 10 (64 bits). When we try to connect with OLE application this application no work, but If we tested this application from SAP GUI for Windows and works correctly.

Hello. We are looking for how to connect with OLE technology the application "Coding Expert Solution" of 3M company. We have problems with SAP GUI for Windows 7.5 Patch 7 on Windows 7 (64 bits). We tried HTML option, but we had the same problems like you. Do you resolved the problem with the 3M integration? How?

First, Thank you for answering so quickly

The application that we need connect with OLE technology is "Coding Expert Solution" of 3M company. 3M send us the attached file (integration manual). We have opctions to integrate this solution:

connect from web applications (javascript) or connect from DLL(OLE application).

We decided to connect from OLE application because from WEB mode we need an browser to call this application.

When I try to call the OLE app from SAP GUI for windows 7.40 rev. 9 working fine but when I call OLE app from SAP GUI for Java 7.40 rev. 9 I received any response... the sy-subrc have 0 value but no work...

I am looking for a solution in the SAP examples, I found the following program SAPMSDM1 and when I run the OLE examples from SAP GUI for Java I am receiving the following error message: (see the attached image)

We are thinking the OLE technoligy is not available to call from SAP GUI for Java. I mean, this technology is only available to SAP gui for Windows.

This is correct?

On the other hand, we have the web option but we have a problem to send the result received from 3M app to SAP, the process is the following:

I am calling a html page from SAP Abap, this web is calling to 3M app, 3M app return to the HTML page the results. I need send this data to SAP but this data is only accesible from HTML...

I attached a integration manual that 3M send us, this manual can be to helpful for you to understand me.
