SAP EIM Smart Data integration Editor - plugin runtime error

Hi,

I'm testing the hana express trial and want to try out SDI.

I'm stuck in the web ide - the SDI objects are missing

in the web ide "workspace preferences extensions" the "SAP EIM Smart Data integration Editor" displays "plugin runtime error" - how can that be? any idea how to fix or troubleshoot?

I'm also trying hana studio but that does not work either

I try the tutorial steps but after creating the flowgraph my hana studio get stuck in the "checking database" step and the "General" palette never displays - and therefore I can't select data source, data sink and other objects for the flowgraph.

any idea how to fix or troubleshoot?

I'm using firefox which seems to be the problem. Installed chrome and now it seems better.

chrome cosniders the self signed certificate generated by the "hana express installer" to be "not secure"
I imported the certificate to the chrome "certificate authorities" tab but chrome still displays "not secure"
any idea how to fix?

the certificate has common name and certificate subject alternative name set so it looks good but chome is displaying "not secure"

The SDI objects are now displayd in web ide - replication object and flow graph.

HANA studio still stuck att connecting database
