SAP Data Archiving

Hi,

I need to archive some of the tables which are growing indefinitely ACCTIT, EDIDC.. etc.. we don't have any archiving solutions. If we archive the contents of this table can we access the contents of archive item at later time. Do we need to implement archiving solution.

Hi James,

For SAP data archiving, you do not necessarily need to implement an "archiving solution". You can use a filesystem to store the archive files. But, realize that you would then need to manage the files manually and the files are not secure.
